Dr. Suraiya Shaikh, DMD
Dr. Shaikh has been at Assabet Dental Group for almost 20 years. She takes pride in providing consistent and comprehensive dental care. The staff is excellent in providing all that needs to attain better oral health. She is constantly updating the dental office with newer technology and techniques. Her new addition to the office is the intraoral scanner which provides the patient a close-up view of their dental health.
She continues to provide single-day crowns and makes these appointments a breeze making it a fun procedure. She is taking additional training to excel in Invisalign procedures as well.

Clinically, Dr. Shaikh has experience in treating patients in need of crowns, bridges, dentures, and cosmetic treatments. She has also advised and treated numerous patients on improving their smiles and enhancing their beauty with cosmetic makeover treatments.
Dr. Shaikh is board-certified to provide nitrous oxide to patients who request it to minimize pain and have a better experience.
Dr. Shaikh is an avid runner and has a great interest in yoga. She has been happily married for 20 years and is blessed with three daughters.

Dr. Cherry Harika
She has been practicing in the greater Boston area for about nine years and has extensive training in surgical and implant dentistry. She has been a faculty member at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine and is also a surgical instructor at Rasner Institute.
She is currently a member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry & International Team of Implantology.
She lives in Burlington with her husband and their two-year-old son. When she’s not busy attending courses or practicing dentistry, she likes to spend time with her son. She also plans to resume her passion for horseback riding.

Kathy Leonard
Office Manager
Kathy is our Office Manager, and has been at Assabet Dental Group since 1990! She graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Kathy enjoys being involved in all aspects of things at Assabet Dental, from making sure the practice runs smoothly, to fixing computers, office equipment, almost anything else, and occasionally assisting the dentist. Her favorite part of the job is meeting our patients and making sure that they have the best experience possible at Assabet Dental.
Kathy helps to handle insurance issues, appointment scheduling, finance options, and treatment planning. She loves having met several generations of patients at Assabet Dental after being here for over 30 years!
In her spare time, Kathy does a lot of volunteer work in the field of addiction and runs a grief support group for those who have lost a loved one to addiction. She also loves to read, scrapbook, spend time with family and friends, and go to Disney World!
Sherrie LeBlanc
Administrative Assistant
Sherrie is a friendly face at the front desk who has been at Assabet Dental since 2014. She likes to help people with their dental appointments, insurance questions, and any other concerns they may have. She has enjoyed getting to know the patients over the years.
Sherrie has been happily married to her husband Jeff for 38 years, and they have two amazing children. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to take walks, go to the beach, and travel.
Marcela Do Carmo
Hygienist
Marcela has been at Assabet Dental since 2021. She has an associate of science degree in dental hygiene from Quinsigamond Community College and has been a member of the Massachusetts Dental Hygiene Association (MDHA) since 2019.
Marcela and her husband Evan are both originally from Brazil and enjoy volunteering their time as Bible instructors in the Portuguese-speaking community.
In her spare time, Marcela enjoys spending time in nature (beach and birding), listening to live music, reading a good book, scrapbooking, and doing watercolors.
Brandon Warren
Dental Hygienist
Brandon has been at Assabet Dental since 2013. He graduated from Wachusett Community College, where he was Class President of the Student American Dental Hygienist Association. He has been practicing dental hygiene for over 10 years, with the majority of his career at Assabet Dental.
When he is not at work helping to keep your smiles beautiful, Brandon enjoys spending time with his dog Myles and traveling to tropical destinations.
